Lloyd Walmsley is a research analyst covering the Internet space for Deutsche Bank Securities. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in early 2011, Lloyd's experience included equity research, investment banking and work in the digital media industry. Lloyd worked as Head of Business Analysis for Skiff LLC, an e-Reader platform company incubated by Hearst Corporation and sold to News Corp. in 2010. Prior to that, he worked as an equity research analyst with coverage of Media and Internet, at Thomas Weisel Partners, where he worked from 2003-2008. Lloyd started his career as an M&A investment banking analyst at Lazard and also worked as a research associate at Credit Suisse. He received a B.A. in history at the University of Virginia in 2000.
