Ritesh Agarwal is the founder and CEO of OYO – India’s largest hospitality company. Ritesh, at the age of 23, is one of the youngest successful CEOs in India. He is also the first resident Indian to become a Thiel Fellow.

Ritesh looks after the overall strategy and operations of OYO - the company which is transforming the Indian hospitality industry by introducing predictability, accessibility, and affordability at hotel accommodations.

Before OYO entered the space there were no set minimum standards in the budget accommodation segment in the country. The hotel brand also introduced the use of technology in the Indian hospitality industry, developing apps for both the consumers and hotel partners to enable seamless hospitality experience at both ends.

Ritesh was listed in Forbes' 30 Under 30 (2016) as well as Fortune India's 40 Under 40 (2016) and The Economic Times' 40 Under 40 (2016). Under his leadership, OYO has won accolades such as India’s Most Promising Hotel Network (HolidayIQ Better Holiday Awards 2017), Business Today's Coolest Start-ups in India (2016) and LinkedIn's Top Employee Attractors (2016 & 2017).
