Ashish is a high-energy leader who has experience working on marketing strategy for some of the most recognizable brands and loyalty programs in the world. An entrepreneur at heart, he enjoys the hunt for actionable insights about consumer behavior that drives measurable business value.
As the Global Head of Strategy & Marketing for Travel at Pinterest, Ashish is responsible for building, growing & managing the travel business. His team works with the largest travel brands in the world to inspire travelers in a meaningful way before they’re in the buying funnel, seamlessly guide them through it and creating a highly personalized experience. Prior to joining Pinterest in 2017, Ashish spent his career building some of the world’s biggest brands - including The Coca-Cola Company and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. He was an early practitioner and thought leader in digital marketing & social media at Starwood. Subsequently has was tasked to grow & lead eCommerce marketing at Coca-Cola.
In addition to his role at Pinterest, Ashish serves as Executive Advisor to the Georgia Tech Marketing Association, Board of Directors for the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, and as a strategic advisor to hospitality companies. In 2017, Ashish was awarded 40 under Forty by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Global Executive M.B.A. from The Georgia Institute of Technology. In his free time, he’s an avid tennis player, enjoys exercising with his wife Shilpa & having daddy-daughter dates with his two girls, Shalini & Sashi.
