Flo Lugli is an innovative, results-oriented global executive with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the hospitality, travel and related technologies businesses for publicly and privately held companies. A builder of high performing teams who develop marketable products and provide operational excellence to deliver sustained value, Lugli has core competencies in strategic business development, opportunity assessment, due diligence process management, and organizational development, integration and transformation. A well-known expert on travel industry distribution and the implications of consumer transparency on branding, Lugli has been recognized as one of the “Most Powerful Women” in Travel for 7 years by Travel Agent Magazine and among the top 75 hotel executives and top 10 technology experts by Lodging Magazine. More recently, Lugli has been recognized as one of the most influential women in hospitality technology by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP).

As Principal of Navesink Advisory Group, LLC, Lugli leverages her vast experience, industry expertise and thought leadership to help businesses drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.

In addition, Lugli is Non-Executive Chairman of Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, encompassing over 550 upscale and luxury hotels with 110,000 rooms across 76 different countries. . She also serves as an advisor to Travo.com, a start-up providing optimized trip planning for event travel, and is on the board of iVvy.com, a leading Enterprise SaaS technology company, providing cloud-based solutions for Event management, Venue management and Supplier management with real-time procurement for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events).

Most recently, Lugli served as the executive vice president of marketing for Wyndham Hotel Group, where she led the global strategy for customer engagement and market positioning for the company and oversaw brand marketing, distribution, ecommerce, loyalty, public relations/communications, research and central reservations systems strategy. She joined the Wyndham Hotel Group in July 2009 after serving in senior executive positions with privately held Travelport Limited (and its predecessor Galileo International), one of the world’s largest global distribution system providers.

In her tenure at Travelport, she served as senior vice president of commercial in its Global Distribution Services Division and, prior to that, acted as chief marketing officer. She was responsible for leading the company’s Global Distribution Systems business in the Americas and overseeing Travelport’s Global Operations and Global Land and Sea businesses, including the development and execution of its hotel, car rental and leisure strategies.

Lugli also spent several years leading the company’s Airline Solutions business unit, holding titles including senior vice president of Airline Solutions and president and managing director, Airline Solutions. In those roles, she was responsible for the development and delivery of business and technology solutions for the company’s airline suppliers, with a specific focus on reservations hosting, faring and data solutions.
Prior to 2002, Lugli held executive level business development and operations positions with Wizcom International and its parent company Cendant Corporation. She joined Cendant in 1987 as a part of its Hospitality Division, serving in several sales and marketing roles, including vice president of worldwide sales and vice president of worldwide sales and marketing.

As part of her consulting practice, Lugli has served as interim President for cheapcaribbean.com, one of the fastest growing online travel sites dedicated to providing the best vacation deals to the Caribbean and Mexico. Lugli also served as a board member for buuteeq, Inc., until its acqusition by The Priceline Group. She has served two terms as president of HEDNA, on the advisory board of TheBeatLive and as a member of the advisory board of the BTN Group. Lugli has also served as a member of HSMAI’s America’s board of directors and, while at Wyndham Hotel Group, served as a board member and Chairwoman for Room Key, a joint venture between 6 of the largest hotel companies. Additionally, she is a board member for Joe’s House, a nonprofit organization providing a nationwide online service that helps cancer patients and their families find lodging near treatment centers.
