Lloyd is a Managing Director and leads the US Internet coverage for UBS, including online advertising, eCommerce, rideshare & food delivery, and online travel subsectors. Prior to joining UBS, Lloyd was a research analyst and Managing Director covering the Internet space for Deutsche Bank Securities, where he worked for 10 years. Before DB, Lloyd worked in equity research at Thomas Weisel Partners and Credit Suisse. He also spend some time in industry at Skiff LLC, a private digital media company backed by Hearst Corporation. He started his career as an M&A Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard Freres. He received a B.A. in history at the University of Virginia in 2000 and grew up in New Orleans.
