Margot Schmorak CEO and Co-Founder
Margot Schmorak (she/her) is CEO and Co-Founder of Hostfully, a leading property management software provider for the short term and vacation rental industry. Hostfully helps professional short term rental managers run their back office operations, including automating messaging, payments, and reporting, and maximizing distribution. Hostfully is a proud Preferred Partner of Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo, Shortyz Award Winner, and Software Advice Front Runner, and and hosts more than 2M traveler views per month on host-generated guidebooks with 500K local recommendations.

Before Hostfully, Margot was Head of Marketing and Strategy at ServiceSource (NASDAQ: SREV), a company helping F50 companies optimize recurring revenue streams. Before that, she worked at Apple, launching the iPhone Developer Program and the first iPhone SDK in 2008. She was also a part of the founding team at Coveroo, a company acquired by Zazzle.

In addition to her role at Hostfully, Margot is a passionate advocate for people who can feel like outsiders of tech or business, especially women and people of color. She is a founder of VC Backed Moms, Co-Chair of VRMA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Subcommittee, and co-leader of the Anti-Racism Coalition at her kids' school. She is particularly excited to pave the way for other female founders and investors, and loves to coach and support them.

Margot earned her MBA from University of Michigan Ross School of Business in 2007 and a BA in Economics from Vassar College in 2001. She is Jewish, Chinese, and loves singing with her a cappella group. She lives in San Francisco with her husband Ari and kids Ben, Aaron, and Eden.
