Markus worked for TUI, one of the world's leading tourism groups, for two decades. His responsibilities included overseeing pricing structures, yield management, hotel contracting and destination strategies.
Markus’ passion to digitize, automate and personalize the booking experience for customers led him to successfully lead a project connecting 20,000 hoteliers in real time with travel agents.

He developed a passion for working in small agile teams tackling technology challenges. Co-founding Cruisewatch allowed Markus to draw on his experiences in the travel industry. He commercially heads the startup, which focuses on transforming the travel industry through Big Data and AI.
