A multilingual world citizen, Amir is an experienced business leader and operator. He has held management positions in diverse international high-pressure environments, ranging from mobile and e-commerce marketplaces in tourism and fashion to management consulting and the military.

Amir currently heads up the global commercial team at Airbnb, leading various growth initiatives across the company that power the success of host communities around the world. He joined Airbnb following its acquisition of HotelTonight, where he served as the Chief Business Officer and was a key member of the executive team.

Before HotelTonight Amir was the Operations Director for Western Europe at Groupon and the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Zalando France. He holds a B.Sc. from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Amir is an avid music and football fan and speaks Hebrew, English, French and Spanish.
