Gilles has significant experience in the travel industry, prior to joining Kiwi.com, having worked on complex strategic projects with leading GDS players such as Amadeus and various airlines and Online Travel Agents.
Having held the role of Chief Strategy Officer at Kiwi.com since 2016, Gilles has been instrumental in shaping the strategy of the company both through a significant period of growth and in dealing with the unexpected by ensuring the business not only survived the impacts of the pandemic, but recovered at speed - breaking all time record daily seat sales within months of restrictions being lifted. In July 2022 he took on the role of Chief Product Officer; as a travel-tech business, the evolution of the product being integral to the company’s strategy. He also has responsibility for revenue management and data analytics.
Gilles is passionate about travel and the part that Kiwi.com plays in the industry, using technology expertise to innovate and create solutions that bring greater options for customers and remove some of the anxieties associated with air travel.
