Niklas Andréen is Chief Commercial Officer, Airline Tech at Sabre, a role that reflects the company’s focus on supporting its airline partners with technology enabled growth and customer centric innovation across its portfolio. In this capacity, he leads global sales, account management, commercial strategy and customer support, providing Sabre’s airline tech customers with the solutions needed to realize their growth plans.
A proven commercial, innovation and transformation leader, Niklas has spent more than 30 years at the intersection of technology, services and people leadership across complex, global travel organizations, combining deep operational expertise with a strong track record of using technology to improve how travelers experience brands.
Before joining Sabre, Niklas served as the Chief Commercial & Digital Officer at the over €1.5 billion economy hotel group B&B Hotels, where he led the transformation of the digital guest journey, strengthened revenue and sales capabilities and optimized growth via multi channel distribution. Previously, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer at global business travel company CWT, managing more than 10,000 staff and delivering enterprise multi channel digital solutions, modern retailing capabilities and scalable service delivery. He has also held executive leadership roles at startup Dreamlake, an ecommerce SaaS platform for the cruise industry, and at global travel technology company Travelport, where he led international expansion and built a $400 million growth business across digital media, mobile apps, hotel, car rental and data.
A Swedish native, Niklas holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and has completed executive programs at The Wharton School. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his wife and three children and is a passionate sports fan, with particular interest in golf and American football.
