Eric Hart is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Expedia, Inc., one of the world’s largest travel companies. In his role, Hart oversees Expedia’s mergers, acquisitions and corporate strategy. During his tenure, Hart has participated in over 30 transactions including the spin-off of TripAdvisor, Inc. in 2011, a majority acquisition of trivago GmbH in 2012, the acquisition of Wotif Group in 2014, the formulation of a strategic marketing agreement with Travelocity announced in 2013 leading to the acquisition in 2015, and also the acquisition of Orbitz Worldwide in 2015.

Hart joined Expedia, Inc. in July 2009 as the Senior Director of Corporate Development. Prior to this, Hart was a Vice President at Lake Capital and worked at The Boston Consulting Group and Accenture.

He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago as well as Finance and Decision Sciences degrees from Georgia State University.
