Alex is COO of VDash a new digital visa assistance business, developed in conjunction with Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures. VDash has revolutionised the way business and leisure travellers can apply and track their travel visas in one portal. Alex joined VDash in April 2019 to launch the company first in the UK and is fast opening incountry operations across the globe. Alex leads a diverse team of engineers, product development, sales, operations, customer success, marketing and well as administration people.

Alex joined VDash after 25+ years in travel technology and business development, of which the previous 6 years were with Travelport, most recently as Vice President for global payments and prior to that as Travelport’s General Manager for the Pacific. During her career she has been based in Australia, UK and in Switzerland with the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Alex has always been fascinated by new technologies, she joined Galileo International in the early days before the GDS was first launched, worked for Sabre for a few years, took some time off to launch her own hotel brand before going back to travel technology. Most recently between leaving Travelport and taking up her role at VDash she also managed to squeeze in completing a Blockchain Strategy course at Oxford University Said Business School.
