My expertise:
- As an operator, I've worked for some of the largest, most iconic travel brands as well as being among the first team members for very early ventures, and everything in between. I've had leadership and consulting roles for high growth TMCs, ran the Americas and was CMO for a major GDS, led the world's largest air consolidator, headed several travel insurance companies, and worked for a number of travel tech firms.
- My direct functional expertise in marketing, sales management, product, partnerships, acquisitions and integration from scrappy startups through multibillion-dollar transactions. I've had direct P&L responsibility up to $500M of revenue.
- I've invested in and advised numerous startups from the earliest pre-revenue angel stage through exit. The involvement goes from highest level strategy through tactical execution, and spans fund-raising, staffing, business model and financial forecasting, product roadmapping, comp structure and putting the right structures and team processes to help young companies scale efficiently without losing their mojo.
In a nutshell: been around the block a few times, have a 360 view of travel distribution and a very deep network.
