Raja is a Partner at Highgate Technology Ventures ("HTV") and has led HTV’s investment strategy since joining the firm in July 2017. He is responsible for the sourcing, structuring, execution, and management of HTV’s portfolio companies in North America and Europe. Raja currently serves as a director on the boards of Cendyn, HostnFly, NoiseAware, OTA Insight, SevenRooms, and Wheelhouse. He also serves as an observer on the boards of Curacity, Marqii, and Safely. He previously served on the board of myDigitalOffice as an observer prior to its sale to private equity. To date, HTV has completed approximately 20 technology investments and 10+ bolt-on acquisitions in the hospitality and travel technology sectors.
Prior to joining HTV, Raja focused on growth-oriented and buyout private equity investments across the business services, consumer, and industrials sectors at Trilantic Capital Partners, a global private equity firm formed in 2009 through the acquisition of Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking. Raja started his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank in its Leveraged Finance Group, where he was responsible for executing buyouts, recapitalizations, and other leveraged debt capital markets transactions for financial sponsors and corporate clients across a diverse range of industries and geographies.
Raja graduated from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering and earned Certificates in Applications of Computing, Engineering and Management Systems, and Finance.
