Robert Rosenstein is the Co-founder and Chairman of online travel giant Agoda Company Pte. Ltd, one of Asia's first homegrown unicorns. He was behind the conception and launch of Agoda.com in 2005, and managed the company, serving as both President and CEO for more than a decade.
Mr. Rosenstein serves now as Chairman of Agoda as well as Strategic Advisor to the CEO of Booking Holdings Inc. Mr. Rosenstein focuses on Asia-Pacific investment and operating strategies as well as other projects for Booking Holdings Inc. He is also an active investor and advisor to many companies in the digital e-commerce and travel sectors.
Mr. Rosenstein was elected to the Web In Travel Hall of Fame in 2017 and was honored as one of the industry's biggest influencers and speaks and writes regularly on the topic of entrepreneurial leadership culture at large enterprises. He is the co-author with Dr. Peter Allen of At Home Around The World, a book about how informal vacation rentals are impacting travelers, communities, local economies, home owners and regulators globally.
Mr. Rosenstein spent nearly two decades living and traveling in the Asia-Pacific region. He now resides in Washington DC. He holds a B.A from Hamilton College.
