Gloria Colgan is Global Head of Products at Visa Commercial Solutions. Visa Commercial Solutions is a global team that brings to life innovative products and solutions to Visa’s clients and partners who support businesses of all sizes – from SMBs to large multi-national corporations – and governments around the world.
Gloria joined Visa in 2020. With over 25 years’ experience with global financial institutions and retail, Gloria has created and launched transformative payment solutions in both the consumer and commercial space. Her experience includes extensive development of value propositions, brand and communications and product innovations throughout digital and physical commerce.
Gloria is an active advocate for gender diversity and serves on the Executive Board for How Women Lead. She is a founding LP for How Women Invest – a venture fund committed to women founders or CEOs, particularly women of color. In addition, she is a current Advisor and Past President of the Board for PayTech Women, a national women’s leadership organization and serves on the Advisory Board for the Foster College of Business at Bradley University. She has held positions on multiple boards for start-up entities in the FinTech sector. Her involvement with all of these entities combines her passion for advancing both diversity and innovation.
Prior to joining Visa, Gloria was the Chief Marketing Officer for Velo Payments. Gloria previously ran Velo’s global partnerships team. Prior to Velo, she held numerous leadership positions including the President of PYMNTS.com, the leading digital media player in payments innovation, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Emerging Payments at Discover Financial Services and executive positions at JPMorgan Chase and Sears Roebuck & Co. Gloria began her career at McKinsey.
Gloria lives in San Francisco, CA, with her husband and son. In her spare time, Gloria enjoys travel and time with her extended family of 100+ members, sharing great food and stimulating conversations.
