Lindene Cleary is an award-winning marketing leader with more than two decades of experience spanning global brands and creative agencies. A proud Tasmanian, her career has taken her from Sydney to Singapore, London, and Seoul, building expertise across brand strategy, content, and integrated marketing communications for companies including Coca-Cola and Diageo.

In her current role as Tourism Tasmania CMO, Lindene leads the state’s domestic and international marketing strategy, shaping bold, distinctive communications that have redefined Tasmania’s place in the global travel landscape. Her leadership has shaped signature creative work including the award-winning ‘Come Down For Air’ platform and the distinctive ‘Off Season’ program.

‘Come Down for Air’ has become one of Australia’s most celebrated state tourism campaigns, while the Off Season has played a pivotal role in driving record winter visitation and transforming Tasmania into the country’s most distinctive cold-season holiday destination.
