He champions a "Hotel as Basecamp" vision for total guest value, helping hotels become genuine launchpads for real travel and deeper connection to people and places. Lou isn't just a hotel tech executive—he's an owner himself, stewarding the 11-room Gateway Lodge Catskills, part of The Untold Collection. His industry leadership includes a decade on HSMAI's Americas Board, a term as President of its Greater New York chapter, and a seat on the Standards Advisory Committee for the Wellness in Travel and Tourism Organization (WITT) and more. He also co-founded workplace-wellness venture Alively and is a partner in Ventures Hospitality, an investment and advisory firm he co-founded. An amateur competitive runner, he lives the wellness ethos alongside his yoga-teaching wife and two kids.
