Jenny has been serving as the Managing Partner of Baidu Capital since November 2016. Prior to BC, Jenny held various positions in Ctrip such as CFO and CSO since 2011.
During her time at Ctrip she spearheaded over thirty acquisitions and investment deals and managed post-investment affairs for such investments totaling tens of billions of yuan, covering the four largest online travel companies in China behind Ctrip; Tujia, China’s largest homestay network; India's largest online travel company MakeMyTrip, and many others, a portfolio extending to both platforms or technology companies in the online sector and offline resources and services. She helped to build a top-class ecosystem in the travel industry and deliver outperforming returns to Ctrip and investors.
Jenny was an senior Wall Street analyst of China TMT. From 2005 to 2011, she was employed by Morgan Stanley as a core member of Mary Meeker’s China team and also employed by Citi as Head of TMT Research of Greater China. During the time Jenny and her team participated in the IPO of Alibaba and tens others.
Jenny holds a PhD degree in Finance from the University of Hong Kong, and two master’s from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and Nankai University respectively. Jenny is also a CFA charter holder.
