Event: 2026 Phocuswright Conference
Product: SmartCXP™ AI
HQ: Englewood, NJ U.S.
Principal(s): Joe Fitzgerald, CEO; Oleg Barenboim, CTO; George Villano, VP
Funding: Privately funded, with about $8M raised to date.
Product Description: SmartCXP™ AI gives loyalty and rewards programs their own branded experiences inside ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants. Members ask about offers, partners and benefits in plain language, then activate, enroll and buy in the conversation. AI Forge builds and evolves the experience, AI Engine answers from the program's own data in its private cloud, and AI Center monitors, audits and governs it. The program keeps control of the experience, member relationship and economics. SOC 2 certified.
Business Model: A modest platform fee, then a share of the incremental revenue we drive for the program and its partners. We grow when our customers grow. Engagements start with a paid proof of concept.
Competitors: Consulting firms building one-off AI assistant apps for brands, and retail AI commerce vendors. The firms are also our channel: they build, we run.
Competitive Edge: Three things set us apart: an AI-powered commerce experience platform already in production for a major U.S. airline program; an AI-native team that built AI chat for loyalty over two years ago; and a model where the program keeps the experience, member relationship and economics.
Market Opportunity: AI assistants are becoming the front door to commerce, and loyalty members are already there across ChatGPT, Claude, Meta's Muse and more, asking where to shop, eat and travel. Whoever answers shapes where they spend, so an absent program risks disintermediation and loses the relationship, partner revenue and margin. The upside is large: the assistant knows exactly what the member wants in the moment, and the program can answer with its own offers, partners and benefits and close the sale.
Early Customers: Major U.S. airline: shopping, dining, gift card and direct partners live on SmartCXP for in-app, affiliate and card-linked commerce.
