Brad Gerstner CEO
Brad is the Founder and CEO of Altimeter Capital – an internet, software, and travel focused investment firm founded in 2008 and located in Silicon Valley and Boston. Altimeter is known for its long-term focus, concentrated investment approach, and exceptional returns across both its public hedge fund and private growth equity funds.

Bloomberg characterized Brad as the "online travel king" for his many successful internet-related travel investments, including, Uber, Airbnb, and Expedia. Prior to launching Altimeter, Brad was the Co-founder of three internet search start-ups - the last of which was sold to Google where it became Google hotel search.

Other representative private investments have included: Zillow, Kayak, ITA Software, Toutiao, Okta, AppDynamics, MongoDB, Unity, 23andMe, and Snowflake Computing.

Brad grew up in Indiana where he served a term as Deputy Secretary of State. He graduated summa cum laude from Wabash College with degrees in Political Science and Economics. He received his JD from the Indiana University School of Law and MBA from Harvard Business School.
