Christoph focuses on investments in travel, mobility & logistics space such as GetYourGuide, HomeToGo, Impala, omio, sennder and Scoutbee.

He is also chairman of the board of HomeToGo SE, the first European SPAC entity which went public at Frankfurt Stock Exchange market in September 2021.

Christoph joined Lakestar Venture Capital in 2016 and is active in deal-sourcing of mainly growth-stage companies in Europe.

Prior to Lakestar, Christoph was a Co-Founder and on the management board of Tomorrow Focus, one of the first internet companies which went public on Frankfurt Stock Exchange market.

He started his professional career at Bertelsmann and also worked as senior advisor for the investment firms BC Partners, GCA Altium and the travel tech company Amadeus.

Christoph received a diploma in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Cologne.

Christoph has a long track record of investing in and operating digital companies. He joined Lakestar in 2016 and is active in deal-sourcing of mainly growth-stage companies in German-speaking markets. He also advises Lakestar portfolio companies on go-to-market, marketing and monetisation-related matters.

Prior to Lakestar, Christoph was a Co-Founder and on the management board of Tomorrow Focus, a digital spin-off from the media conglomerate Burda. Christoph floated the company on the German Stock Exchange and developed it through acquisitions into a profitable internet portfolio group with more than 1,000 employees.

He started his professional career at Bertelsmann and also worked as senior advisor for the investment firms BC Partners, GCA Altium and the travel tech company Amadeus.
Christoph received a diploma with distinction in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Cologne.
