A 30-year veteran of the travel and hospitality industries, Eduardo Schutte leads Amadeus’ Travel-Sellers commercial organization in NORAM, in addition to the company’s online travel business in the Americas. In this capacity he is responsible for executing the commercial, product and operational plans for business-travel, leisure and online agencies, as well as for other digital players entering the travel space.
Previously, he worked at Hilton, as Senior Vice President, Global Sales Services & Distribution Group, overseeing global third-party distribution channels and partnerships, as well as a Shared Sales Services organization. Subsequently, he was Senior Vice President of Business Development & Innovation for Hilton Grand Vacations, where he led the company’s spin-off from Hilton and oversaw its new market-entry strategies, we well as business development and go-to-market initiatives.
Eduardo has also held senior executive roles at other leading travel companies, including LXR Luxury Resorts and Hotels (a Blackstone company), TravelClick and Grupo Posadas.
Originally from Mexico City, Eduardo now lives in Miami with his wife, three children and two dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, cooking and traveling with his family.
