Paul Weaver Vice President, Global Digital Product Design
Paul Weaver is a multi-award-winning, customer focused creative leader, with a record of consistent success in leading the end-to-end development of innovative, best-in-class products from inception through release while focusing on user experience and financial performance across a wide range of different industries.

In his current role as "Vice President, Global Digital Design" at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, since August 202 he has been at the forefront of helping to create beautiful, meaningful digital experiences for Hyatt's guests, members and colleagues.

Prior to his tenure at Hyatt, Paul spent five impactful years as "Vice President, User Experience & Human Factors Research" at Cerner Corporation. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, he led a top-tier team of UX Designers, Strategists, and Human Factors Researcher with a mission to revolutionize healthcare solutions and mobile applications to provide user-friendly experiences for physicians, nurses, administrators and patients.

During his three-year tenure at Rosetta Stone, Paul served as "Senior Director, Head of UX." He led the charge in creating outstanding user experiences in the realm of language learning. Under his guidance, Rosetta Stone successfully launched three children's education products before leading an initiative to reimagine the core Rosetta Stone mobile experience.

Before this, the vast majority of Paul’s career was spent in video game design and development, working at notable companies such as Disney, Rare/Nintendo, 2K Games and Ion Storm. Paul helped create over 20 video games in his time in this industry, culminating at Disney, where he completed Disney Epic Mickey in the role of Creative Director.

Paul’s other achievements include receiving the Disney Inventor Award in 2012 for a patent submission, as well as being part of a team that created a patent around UI design with Augmented Reality at Cerner, as well as being a multi-award winner for his work on Disney Epic Mickey and Rosetta Stone’s educational and language learning products.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Paul is passionate about giving back. He initiated the "Five Days in Rwanda" project, which funded the creation of a basketball court for the children in a local school there using his love of photography to create and launch an Indiegogo campaign to reward supporters with a photobook of his adventures.
