Theresa Wise Advisor, CEO
Theresa currently serves as CEO/Principal of Utaza, LLC, a business advisory service building on her experience in IT strategy, data analytics, mathematical modeling, revenue optimization.

Prior to this, Theresa invested 15 years as an Airline CIO - most recently at Delta where she led the team through its successful integration of technology and business plans following its acquisition of Northwest Airlines, in what has been deadlines as a blueprint for airline mergers. Theresa originally entered the airline industry as a student-intern at Northwest Airlines, where she was credited with inventing new mathematical models for airline planning optimization.

In addition to her business advisory work, Theresa serves as an independent director on a portfolio of public and private boards including Viasat, CWT, IBS Software and MISO Energy. Most of these firms play a significant role in national or global infrastructure, and leverage technology in meaningful ways to address the satellite communication industry, the power industry, and the logistics, transformation and travel industries.

Theresa has been recognized by local Business Journals as "CIO of the Year" for her lifetime work in IT, and by ExecRank as Global CIO of the year.

She is an active supporter of arts and education: serving on St Olaf College's board of regents, Cornell University's Council for Operations Research and Information Engineering. She is also a violinist with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra.

Theresa earned a BA in math and chemistry from St Olaf College; and a PhD and MS in applied math and operations research from Cornell University.
