Steve Singh Executive Chairman and CEO
Steve Singh is a venture capitalist and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience across the corporate travel, technology and expense management sectors. With a focus on next generation B2B and enterprise-related startups, Steve has invested in and scaled businesses in markets ripe for transformation. Steve currently serves as Managing Director at Madrona Venture Group. He also serves as the Executive Chairman of Direct Travel, Center, Spotnana, Troop, Stratify, Magnify and Archway Software. He is the Chairman of IDG and Leaf Logistics and sits on the board of directors for Clari and WaFd Bank.

Over the past several years, Steve and his investment partners have sought out companies that are transforming key technology platforms in the multi-trillion dollar travel industry, with the primary goal of improving the corporate travel experience for the traveler, the companies they work for, and the suppliers that serve them. In addition to his focus on travel, Steve has invested across a wide variety of technology areas, including artificial intelligence, intelligent applications, and next-generation cloud infrastructure.

Outside of his corporate roles, Steve has served as a Director on the Board of Trustees at The Nature Conservancy, a global environmental nonprofit working to create a world where people and nature can thrive. He also spent 10 years as a Director at Washington Roundtable, a nonprofit organization that works to effect positive change on public policy issues that are critical to supporting economic vitality and fostering opportunity for all Washingtonians.

Steve has enjoyed a rewarding career across a number of iconic companies. Notably, Steve founded and served as the Chairman and CEO of Concur through its IPO, 16 years as a public company and its acquisition by SAP. While at SAP, Steve served on the Executive Board, running SAP’s Cloud Business Group.

Outside of work, Steve and his family run the Singh Family Foundation, which focuses on education for girls, conservation, and several local charitable initiatives. He currently resides in Seattle.
