Filip Filipov was appointed new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OAG in December 2025. He leads the company’s strategic direction, reinforces its position as a global authority in aviation data, and drives innovation in products and technology for the travel ecosystem.

Filipov joined OAG as Chief Operating Officer in 2024, spearheading a major growth and transformation phase. As CEO, he is guiding OAG into a new era focused on advanced data solutions, AI-driven insights, and increased technology investment.

He previously served as Vice President of Product and Strategy at Skyscanner, where he was part of the executive team and contributed to scaling the business into a leading global travel brand. He also held senior roles in venture capital and strategy consulting at Opera Solutions in New York and London. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Government (Honours) from Harvard University
