Robert Rosenstein is Managing Director of Verne Point Capital LLC, through which he invests in and advises travel and travel-adjacent companies — overseeing investment strategy, deal and fundraising execution.

Rob serves as Executive Chairman of Scoop.ai, an agentic ticketing platform designed to better serve customers and boost the ticketing capabilities of personal agents.

Rob co-founded Agoda in 2005 — the Singapore-based online travel platform that is today one of the five largest consumer travel platforms in the world — serving as its President and CEO for more than a decade, and he continues to serve as its Chairman.

He is a senior advisor to the CEO of Booking Holdings, the world's largest travel company by market value (Booking.com, Priceline, Kayak, OpenTable, Rentalcars.com, Agoda), where he has sourced and helped execute investments in China, Korea, and elsewhere across Asia-Pacific.

After nearly two decades living and traveling across Asia-Pacific, Rob now resides in Washington, DC. He was elected to the Web in Travel Hall of Fame in 2017, speaks and writes on entrepreneurial leadership, and is the co-author with Dr. Peter Allen of At Home Around the World, on the global impact of short-term rentals. He holds a B.A. from Hamilton College.
